Facial laser hair removal is a completely safe procedure for a smooth, fuzz-free face. This is also recommended for women suffering from medical issues such as PCOS that cause excessive facial hair growth. Once treatments are finished, this semi permanent hair removal can last from months and even up to years!
In the 369 Laser Clinics video, let us walk you through how a facial laser hair removal is done. With our latest triple wavelength laser and cooling gel, pain is completely minimal.
First, a protective eyewear is given to the client to protect their eyes from the laser.
The skin is wiped clean and a skin map is performed. This is done with a white pencil to mark the areas of the skin for targeting and controlled treatment. Doing this also ensures that there are no patches left.
With the skin map set in place, we use a razor to shave to remove the ‘barrier’. These are the hair shafts that may block the laser beam from reaching the hair follicles. Once the hair shafts are cleared, the full power of the laser penetrates effectively down to the follicle resulting in optimal results.
After the barrier removal and prior to the laser treatment, we apply a cooling gel to the skin. This also helps with conducting the laser beam better to the hair follicles. Then we start the laser treatment, targeting the areas like the sideburns, cheeks, chin, upper lip, jawline, neck and the other parts of the face that need attention.
After the laser treatment, we do aftercare by wiping the face clean and applying some post-treatment cream and SPF to protect the face and the neck from the sun.
